‎Vanessa de Jesus declared for the 2026 Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) Draft, she announced on social media on Saturday, April 11.

‎The 24-year-old guard suited up for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Duke Blue Devils in the US NCAA Division 1.

‎Most recently, she helped Notre Dame reach the Elite Eight, averaging 8.4 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.8 steals per game throughout the season.

‎Standing at 5-foot-8, De Jesus debuted for the Philippines in the 2023 FIBA Women's Asia Cup, where she tallied 12.8 points, 3.2 assists, and 1.8 rebounds per game.

‎Two years later, she donned the Gilas Pilipinas Women jersey again for the same tournament and posted 13.2 markers, 3.2 dimes, and 1.8 boards per game.

College Sports Network reported that Golden State Valkyries, New York Liberty, and Portland Fire are among De Jesus' top possible destinations.

‎“She is projected to go late in the draft, but she could also surprise many if she gets picked earlier,” it said.

‎The WNBA Draft is set on Tuesday, April 14 (Manila time).
